Happy 50th Anniversary from Ann & John Alteio

We met Pat and Gerry at our house when we hosted the Lincoln Hills Supper Club.I think it was late 2005 or early 2006. The original group has dissolved but the 4 couples present at that dinner are still meeting monthly, The Alteios, Andrejewskis, McLaughlins and the Taylors.

We still enjoy getting together.

Three of us are in Book Group which meets monthly. Pat does a great job of keeping track of what we have read. She is insightful in reviewing books.

Gerry and I share an interest in mysteries and spy books.

We have enjoyed Pat sharing stories of growing up in Sioux Falls S.D.

Gerry did not say much about growing up in Joplin,MO. but we shared his sadness and concern following the tornado in Joplin.

Their experience was much different than ours growing up in Brooklyn,N.Y.

In 2007 we enjoyed a cruise to Alaska with them and Greg and Brenda.

Meeting the family and celebrating Gerrys 70th Birthday was fun.

We were also able to share Pat's happiness at taking the family trip to Disneyland for her 80th Birthday. 

There have been many spur of the moment trips to the movies or dinner.

They have proved to be true friends during John's surgeries in 2009. God Bless them.

While we have not known them as long as many others we are truly Blessed to have their friendship. We look forward to many more years of friendship
