What a grand event you are planning for their 50th! Do wish I could be there that weekend.
I knew Gerry first at the beach in Rogers Park, where I lived with Susie Hamilton---as her "ex" was frat brother of your Dad's at Missouri. So we had lots of beach parties & put away too many cocktails...French 75's I believe. Cannot recall if met Pat there, too, or later at Suzie & Hammy's wedding or other gatherings. After I moved to San Diego in 1976, I reunited with Suzie & then saw Pat & Gerry at your weddings & even visited them in Westlake Village one weekend. Since then, I have been to Lincoln to see their darling home & had lunch at the 5-star Rec Center when I was in near-by Browns Valley visiting my husband's cousin. Over the years, it's always been a delightful reunion and so e-z to catch up on each other's lives. Always enjoy Pat's Xmas letter, too. Just wish I could be there for such a "good times" event & celebration.
